Benora Halvorson was born September 5, 1897, at Decorah, Iowa. She married Alfred O. Iverson January 6, 1917, at Mahnomen. In 1919 they moved to the Waubun, Minn., area. In 1926 they moved to Mahnomen, where she worked at the Iverson Drug Store for many years. She has been a resident of Lutheran Memorial Home, Twin Valley, Minn., for the past three years. He died in 1978.
She is survived by three sons and three daughters, Tarjie, Mesa, Ariz.; Harold, Mahnomen; Keith and Mrs. Sigrid Schulstad, both St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Jack (Bernice) Young, Plymouth, Minn.; and Mrs. Don (Ruth) Beuge, Sheboygan, Wis.; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
