Tankersley resident of your same Parish and state and one of the heirs of Ambrose Blackwell Deceased whose estate has just gone through a course of administration in your Honorable court with respect represent that there is in his hands as administrator of the above mentioned succession Monies and evidences of debts belonging to the heirs resident and absent of the said ......that the heirs of the said succession that the said ...... residing in the Parish of Claiborne are JANE Tankersley wife of your Petitioner, MARTHA A. Hunt-wife of T. J. Hunt, E. R. (EVELYN RHODA) Wilson wife of A. E. Wilson and JOHN Blackwell, W. R. Blackwell and Ambrose Hall minor child of MARY Hall Deceased represented by his tutor A. E. Hillsboro and [aunt] Manda (AMANDA) Skinner.

State of Louisiana -- Parish of Claiborne.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That John O. Tankersley has this day filed in my office his application to be appointed Administrator of the estate and succession of the deceased.

Now, therefore, unless opposition be made within the time prescribed by law, the prayer of the applicant will be granted. and lettes of administration issued accordingly.

Given under my hand and official seal on this the 22nd day of July, A.D. 1878

BY virtue of a commission to me directed by the Honorable Parish Court of the parish of Claiborne, I will sell at public auction, to the last and highest bidder, at the Court-house door in the town of Homer,

Saturday, 14th day of September, 1878, the following described property belonging to said succession, to wit:

One Horse, and one Feather Bed and bedding. Terms Cash.
