Funeral services for Benjamin E. Jones, 87, DeSoto, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Meeks Mortuary with Rev. Myron E. Oyler officiating. Burial will be in DeSoto Union Cemetery. Callers will be received at the mortuary from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight.
Mr. Jones died unexpectedly Tuesday at DeSoto. He was associated with his brother, Frank Jones, in the manufacture of auto parts at Upper Sandusky, Ohio, for many years. Earlier he had been employed at Warner Gear. He returned to Delaware County several years ago and resided with his sister, Mrs. Gladys Mabry.
Other survivors are a son, Dana Jones, Muncie, and four grandchildren.
