Vonnie Alice Donley, 89, of White Oak, died Monday, March 11, 2013, in Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth.
She was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Gerards Fort, Pa., a daughter of the late Alvin and Effie Carpenter Stoneking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Donley Jr; brothers, James and Minor Stoneking; and a sister, Evelyn Kenney.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in McKeesport and was a member of the McKeesport Art Group. She was a volunteer at Briarcliff Pavilion and was a caregiver to the sick.
Surviving are her daughters, Bundy (Tom) Heinselman, of Atlanta, Ga., and Karen (Arnold) Winter, of White Oak; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; sisters, Elizabeth Dusenberry, of Taylor Town, Pa., and Irma Hamilton, of Ohio; also surviving are nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport, PA 15132. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with Tom Heinselman presiding. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hill
