Corbett Heniss Crawford, son of Sarah "Sallie" Morgan Crawford and Richard Crawford, died at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Covington, Feb. 16, (1947) where he had been for two weeks. He had been ill health several weeks and death was attributed to cancer.

Mr. Crawford was born in Owen Co. in Aug, 1892. Early in life he united with the Salem Baptist Church and remained a member thru life.

Survivors are the widow, formerly Ethel Ogden, two sons, Paul and Marvin Crawford of Sanders, and four daughters, Mary and Lillie Mae of Covington, Ky., Alma Jean and Betty Jane, at home. He also leaves two grandchildren, three brothers, Sam, Noah, and Arthur, and one sister, Mrs. Kate Goins, all of Sanders, Ky.

Services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Sanders Baptist Church, 2 p.m., the pastor, Rev. Austin Staples, officiating. Burial took place at Salem Church Cemetery, Owen County, KY.
