NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Robert Edward Binion, 58, passed to his heavenly Father on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014.
Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst.
Robert was preceded in death his parents, Tom and Louise; brother, David; and granddaughter, Laura Ann.
Sincere thanks to everyone for the outpouring of prayers, thoughts, support and love. Robert was a fighter and was a three-year survivor of colon cancer. God has a plan and needed him more than we did. He never met a person that he wouldn't give the shirt off his back. We will meet again and share laughter and smiles with our D.A.D. Life is precious and way too short. Hug your loved ones. Tell them you love them often. Cheers to you Pops! We love you always and forever.
Survivors: Son, Bobby Binion and Kristen Vernoski; daughter, Camille Binion and Matt Henslee; grandchild, Vivian Henslee; brothers, Tom Binion and wife, Judy, John Binion and wife, Kathy, and Joe Binion and wife, Dana; sister-in-law, Carolyn Currier; and many other loving family members and friends.
