Mr. Culp was born in Prairie Co., PA on 15 Feb. 1867. He had lived in Ft. Madison for over 50 years. He was a mechanics helper at the Santa Fe Railroad for 13 years.
He md. Miss Bessie Palmer on 28 Feb. 1899. She is dead. He was a member of the Gospel Center Church and the Loyal Order of Moose.
Three daughters survive, Mrs. Dorothy Harrington, Kirksville, MO, Mildred Culp, Ft. Madison, Mrs. Harold Andrews, Ft. Madison; a brother, George W. Culp, Los Angeles, CA; 2 sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hines, Los Angeles, CA, and Mrs. Arthur Spitser, Santa Barbara, CA. Also seven grandchildren and one great grandchild survive.
