Tom Markham, age 93, of Palestine passed away Thursday November 13, 2014. Mr. Markham was born on October 26, 1921 in Crockett and had lived in Palestine for the last 18 months previously residing in Leon County.
He earned an engineering degree from the University of Houston and was a veteran of the United States Navy and United States Air Force. Mr. Markham was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Crockett.
Mr. Markham was preceded in death by wife of 60 years, Estelle Markham, son, Tom Markham, Jr., brother, John W. Markham and parents, John and Nan Markham and sisters, Faye Willis and Lucy Collins.
Graveside Military services will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
