Mrs. Mary L. Bielby
Former Resident of Rome and Wright Settlement Dies at Lynn, Mass.
Mrs. Mary L. Bielby, aged 80, widow of Isaac Bielby, died at her home in Lynn, Mass., on Wednesday evening. Relatives in this city received word of her death by telephone.
Her maiden name was Mary L. Newhouse, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Newhouse. A part of her life was spent at Wright Settlement and also in Rome. She went to Lynn about 15 years ago. She was a member of the Baptist Church and while in this city took an active interest in the affairs of that church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Annie B. Perkins of Lynn and one son, Robert B. Bielby of Buffalo. There are three grandchildren, Louise and Marjorie Perkins of Lynn and Miss Helen Bielby of Buffalo. She was a sister of the late Mrs. Samuel F. Bielby of this city. The remains will be brought to this city. The remains will be brought to Rome Saturday and taken to the home of her niece, Mrs. E. R. Davis, 614 W. Bloomfield Street.
