She was born TN to Elmer and Gertrude (Carr) McFarland.
She grew up in Clinton and moved as a teenager to Livermore, CA, and was a graduate of Livermore High School.
After high school she worked for a time in the Job Corp.
As an Air Force wife she had lived in many different places before moving to Mustang in 2000.
She worked several years for Civil Service(DLA) and later worked in the RV industry as a factory representative.
She was a Baptist.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother and two grandchildren, Baylee Renee and Makenzie Lyn.
Survivors include her father, Elmer McFarland and her husband Jon both of Mustang, OK.; two sons, Christopher Scott Russell of Mustang, Jon Andrew Russell and wife Michelle of Salida, CA and one daughter, Stacey Christine Templeton of Arvada, CO.; also, by five grandchildren Brittany Nicole, Andrew Scott, Morgan Alexis, Ashley Nicole, Jayde Kaprece and one brother, Donnie McFarland of Blackhawk, SD.
Services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, April 6, 2006 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeils Mustang Funeral Service with interment following in Mustang Cemetery, Mustang, OK.
