LEBANON, April 21 (Special)-- Norman Elmer Pepperling, 28, former
resident, died yesterday at a Seattle hospital.
Born June 10, 1922, he had lived in Seattle the past ten years and
served as a paratrooper in World War II.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Callie Grusing, Lebanon; three
sisters, Mrs. Alice Davis, Salem; Mrs. Hazel Grusing, Lebanon; and Ella
Pepperling, Lebanon, and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Huston chapel
here, with Lena Summers of the Church of God officiating. Burial will be in
the Lebanon I.O.O.F. cemetery.
