OBITUARY: Mrs. Adeline Huppert

The Angel of Death came quietly Tuesday, June 30, 1931 and took to her home above, a pioneer settler of Big River, Mrs. Adeline Huppert, 82, a resident of Big River for more than 60 years. Her husband preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Steve Buss of St. Paul, and seven sons, John W., Peter W., Will X., Mike W., Frank and Joseph of Big River and Andrew of St. Paul; also one sister, Mrs. Mary Smith of Ellsworth and two brothers, Frank and Joseph Armbruster, the former of River Falls and the latter of Big River. A large number of grand and great-grandchildren also mourn her loss.

She was a most devoted wife and mother, an ideal home maker, a true neighbor and a devote parishioner of St. Mary's Church and a staunch member of the St. Mary's Altar Society for years.

Funeral services were held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, Father John B. Pinion officiating.
