ROBERT L. ADAMS Age 85, passed away peacefully at home, in San Bernardino, on Father's Day, June 20, 2010.

Bob was born March 10, 1925, in Frankton, Indiana. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, twice combat wounded and a former P.O.W. He graduated from De Pauw University and became a successful business man, retiring from Simmons Co. after 30 years in construction, with owning & operating Rialto Mattress for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia. Survived by two sons, Barry Adams (Jacile), Sam Adams (Gail); and daughter, Julie Johnson (Steve); brother, Sanford; 6 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren. He also leaves behind a special group of friends who inspired & loved him every day. They meant the world to him.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 10:00 A.M. at Montecito Memorial Park & Chapel.
