At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, October 17, 2006, Mr. Wilbert Adams of New Denmark passed away at the age of 82 years. He was married to the former Reta Baker. Born at New Denmark in 1923, he was a son of the late Andrew and Anina (Hansen) Adams.
A retired field supervisor with McCain Foods Ltd., he was also a veteran of World War II and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 21.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Nile Roberge of Hammonds Plains, NS, one brother, Perley (Margaret) of New Denmark, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Fred.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. His funeral will be held Saturday, October 21st at 2 p.m. from St. Ansgar’s Anglican Church, New Denmark with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. There will be a legion tribute service Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Born at New Denmark in 1923, he was a son of the late Andrew and Anina (Hansen) Adams.
