John was a good, tender father; worked as ceramic tile-setter, loved animals, panning for gold, camping, crafting with his hands and had a strong bond with his brother, Frank. He helped people who were down on their luck and though he was a man of few words;when he spoke, it was usually worth hearing. He is sorely missed by many. John gave his life to Christ with a Pastor who came to see him shortly before he left us.
