Former resident dies in Milwaukee
Al N. Gengler, 76, former Remsen [Ia.] resident, died Saturday, Nov. 1st [1974] in Milwaukee, Wis. Of an apparent heart attack.
He was a brother of Leo Gengler and had resided on farms in this area [Remsen] until 1953 when he moved to Milwaukee.
Mr. Gengler had been in failing health for several years and died while enroute to the hospital.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 4th in Milwaukee. Several Remsen relatives attended the funeral.
