HEDRICK, Sharon K. (Cooper) - Age 63, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich.

Mrs. Hedrick was born in Flint on February 7, 1943, the daughter of Eugene and Mildred (Hutchinson) Cooper and has been an area resident all her lifetime. She and Mark Hedrick were married in Clio on September 15, 1962 and he preceded her in death on December 4, 2005. She was a longtime active member of the Richfield Church of the Nazarene, and played an active part in the development of the new church. She also was a past church board member, a missionary president and sang in the church choir. Mrs. Hedrick owned and operated "Lil Country Coop", a craft store out of her home. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Survivors are her three sons, Mark Scott Hedrick and fianceé Kathy of Mt. Morris, Todd Wayne Hedrick and wife Randi of Otisville and Jeffery Gary Hedrick and wife Lori of Beaverton, Michigan. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Justin, Samantha, Jacob, Ryan and Katie; and a sister, Jill A. Cooper of Brooksville, Florida.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hedrick was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Cooper. Funeral Services will be 11AM Monday, April 10, 2006 at the Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Otisville. Rev. Michael P. Morris will officiate and burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (just south of Hill Rd.) from 6-9PM on Saturday, 11AM-2PM and 4-8PM on Sunday, and at the church from 10AM until the time of service Monday.
