Jackie “Jack” Ray Eagan, 74 of Jonesboro, passed away Monday November 17, 2014 in Memphis.

Born November 25, 1939 in Saffell, son of Estes and Nona Godwin Eagan. He was an owner and operator of Eagan Manufacturing in Black Rock and of the Baptist belief.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Sallye Eagan, daughter of Elbert and Cuba Mae Blanton Callahan, and a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Lin Eagan of the home; one daughter, Shelia (David) Jackson of Fayetteville; two sons, Richard (Robbie) Eagan of Black Rock, and Ashley (Susanne) Eagan of Pocahontas; two step-sons, Jerry (Deborah) Gilliam of Wake Forrest, NC and Kenneth (Dim) Gilliam of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Joshua (Whitney) Jackson, Jenni (Ryan) Russell, Joe Paul Jackson and Magan Eagan; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Vernon (Jeannie) Eagan of North Little Rock and Buford (Barbara) Eagan of Walnut Ridge; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Children’s Shelter in Walnut Ridge and or the National Kidney Foundation.
