Emily Abbott was born in Atwater, Ohio, on May 23, 1920, and went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2014.
Emily retired from the Akron public school system where she cooked for many years and was a long time member of South Arlington United Methodist Church. Mom was mainly a stay at home mother, raising five children in her two bedroom home. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was looking forward to being with her husband, Charlie, who preceded her in death in April, 2004. She was also preceded in death by sons, Charles Robert and Gary Abbott; two granddaughters; and sister, Norma Humm.
Burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
