Raynham, formerly of Reed Street, November 25, 2012 Joan G. (Reilly) Roy wife of the late Wilfred J. Roy died at Life Care Center in Raynham at the age of 81. Born in Taunton, Joan was the daughter of the late Philip and Beatrice (Mallette) Reilly. Joan worked at the former Paul A Dever State School then worked at TJ Holmes in Norton. She was a former Girl Scout leader and enjoyed spending time with her family. Joan was the mother of Debbie Roy of Taunton, Marie Nickerson of East Freetown, Catherine “Cathy” Machado of Taunton and the late Joan Nunes, Willie Roy and John Roy. Grandmother of seven and nine great grandchildren. Sister of Beatrice McGowan of CT, Ethel Dodenhoff of Raynham, Marie Pacheco of Taunton and the late Phyllis Bates, Elizabeth Syliva, Myles Reilly and Philip Reilly Jr. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 1st at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 10 AM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton. In lieu of flowers donations in Joan’s memory may be made to the Roy Family Memorial Fund, Mechanics Corp Bank, Taunton, Ma, 02780.
