Ron's early education was gained while attending two schools: St. Joachim's Elementary and Madera Union High School, where he received numerous sports award playing both Jr. Varsity and Varsity Coyotes, as center. He followed high school with two years at Fresno City College. During this time he worked at Madera Glass and Body Shop under the direction of his father, Nick. Trade schools strengthened his skills which were then passed on to his many loyal customers in 1981 when he and his high school sweetheart, and his wife of 37 years, Rebecca (Becky) Hernandez Cappelluti, took over the business. His pride and satisfaction came from doing the best he could to gain confidence from his many customers over some 35 years; proving once again, that good business practice is never out of style.
Ron served his country in the California Army National Guard.
Ron took much pride in his niece Dennise Petrucci, who he referred as "his daughter", his business support person. A constant source of strength, Dennise was invaluable, along with Sylvia, Becky's sister, during his times of struggle. All who know anything about Rebecca's family can understand where her strength comes from. Ron was fortunate on both sides of his family who loved him very much. He was very much a family person. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
