Isabell Margaret "Mema" (Rosenberger) Bell, 81, of Kittanning, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born in Kittanning, Dec. 29, 1932, to the late Lester and Margaret Ethel (Richards) Rosenberger.

She was the last surviving member of her siblings. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport.

She loved her family and had a strong faith in the Lord.

She was a brave woman who was a cancer survivor three times since 1956, but she always held on to her faith and courage.

She will always be in our hearts and memories.

She loved spending time with her family and cherished the holidays when they were all together, as she would say, "around the Hallmark tree."

She loved going to Benezette to see the elk and enjoyed taking pride in her home, crocheting, and sitting on the front porch with her family.

She enjoyed watching the deer and birds from her kitchen window.

Also, she liked playing cards with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, David R. Bell; three daughters, Carolyn E. Mergen, Peggy A. (David) Bowser, and Catherine L. Younkins; grandchildren, Carol (James) Altman, James (Elizabeth) Bell, Tracy (Scott) King, Cathlynn Bowser, and Tommy Younkins; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Altman, Joshua Sorrels, Kelsey Altman, Heaven Sorrels, and Autumn Sorrels; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, James A. Bell; granddaughter, Angie Marie Bell; son-in-law, John W. Mergen; sisters, Mary Wells, Edith Farster, Ivie Miller, Florence Rosenberger, and Ruth Dickman; and brother, Lester Rosenberger.

The family would also like to say a special thanks to Dr. Khalil and Dr. Tabbara, as well as Pastor James Neal.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, in the KENNEDY and BLODGETT FUNERAL HOME, in Kittanning, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, in the funeral home with her church pastor, the Rev. James Neal, officiating.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
