She was a strong, independent woman, loved by all her children and grandchildren.
She enjoyed shopping and gambling with her daughters.
Her daughter, Joanna Altamirano, son, Joseph Verdugo, three grandsons, and one granddaughter, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Botello, Victoria Rodriguez, Mary Arias and Sylvia Diaz; daughters-in-law, Margie Verdugo and Rachel Cervantes; sons, George Verdugo and Larry Cervantes; son-in-law, Frank Torres; 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nephews and nieces.
