The body of Alex Scheerer, a member of a former well known family of Tipton, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Scheerer, who was born and reared here, was brought to Tipton Friday afternoon and interment services were held at the Masonic cemetery. Mr. Scheerer, who passed away in Kansas City, was 67 years old. A sister, Rosa Baker and a brother, William, survive him.
