Junius J. “June” Toups, 93, passed away November 18, 2014, resident of Veterans Home in Reserve, LA and native of Donner, LA.
Visitation will be from 8:30AM until funeral time Saturday, November 22, 2014 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He was survived by his sons, Wayne Toups and wife Brenda, Barry Toups and wife Patricia; sisters, Theresa Landry, Lucy Elliott and Julie Barnes; grandchildren, Tiffany Toups, Jennifer Arrasmith (husband Raymand Arrasmith III), Rebecca Ledoux (husband Eric Braun), Brian(wife Jennie Pace-Toups), David and Jason Toups; great-grandchildren, Brittany Arrasmith, Raymond Arrasmith IV, Noah Braun, Elizabeth Stanavech and Michael “Mikey” Stanavech.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marian Toups; parents, Dennis J. Toups 1st wife Carmen Bourgeois Toups and 2nd wife Mabel Cooper Toups; brother, Walter Toups; sisters, Bessie Beason and Joyce Carmouche.
Honorable served in WWII from Aug. 1, 1942 to Nov. 29, 1945.
