She then moved to Chicago in 1946 where she worked at the Great Lakes NAVAL. She then worked for an insurance company before working at Johnson & Johnson for 10 years. Jeanette returned to Rib Lake to stay in 1966. She was employed by Taylor County as the Register in Probate for 24 years until her retirement in 1985.
MEMBER OF: Rib Lake United Methodist Church, Rib Lake Community Club, Lehman-Clendenning American Legion Auxiliary, Rib Lake United Methodist Church Women's Society, Rib Lake Library Partners and Rib Lake T.O.P.S. Past member of Thursday evening Women's Bowling League and Saturday evening Mixed Couples Bowling League at Little Bohemia. She enjoyed camping, cross-country skiing, bowling, and traveling in the United States and over seas.
