Archie and Mary Ellen Baugh Mobley were the parents of 7 children: Mary, Catherine, Lucy A., James Robert, Freda Mae, Paul M. and Ruth M.

Archie Mobley, 79, of R. 8, Handy Lane, died Tuesday at his home. He was a retired employee of the Maple Hill Stone Mill, a member of the Millworkers Union and the Sanders Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are 4 daughters, Mrs. Merle (Mary) Cline of Sanders, Mrs. Clifford (Catherine) Butcher of R. 5, Mrs. Phillip (Lucy) Bostic of 2551 Skyline Dr. and Mrs. Elmer (Ruth) Litz of 503 E. Dixie; 1 son Paul Mobley of R. 8; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dorval Mobley of 333 S. Davidson; a sister, Mrs. Iva Flick of 910 N. Summitt St.; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Friday at Clear Creek Christian Church, with the Revs. Stanley Holloway and Richard Hittle officiating. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Greene and Harrell funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
