James E. McClure, age 74, of Ashville, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at his residence. James was born February 25, 1939 in Logan County, Ohio, son of the late Howard and Margaret Hinton McClure. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Survived by sons, Don (Cathy) McClure, Ashville, and Ron (Joan) McClure, Columbus; sister, Betty McClure, Bellefontaine; granddaughter, Emily McClure. The family will receive friends 2-5 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the OLIVER-CHEEK FUNERAL HOME, Ashville. Funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. Sunday. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 10-10:45 a.m. Monday, November 24 prior to graveside services at 11 a.m. at Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville.
