Some family members believe that Martha Elizabeth Rogers West was buried in Beulah Baptist Church by her husband Silas Andrew West and daughters, Sarah West Gossett and Harriett A West Austin. Otherwise, it is possible that both Silas Andrew and Martha Elizabeth Rogers West were buried on their property on Turkey Creek in Buncombe County North Carolina. All records found show that Hughey Rogers (1785-1870) was her father and Nancy Elizabeth Brooks (1791-?) was her mother.
