David Rainer, age 68, of Laurel Fork, Virginia passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Rainer, five sons, George Rainer, Donald Davis, Ronald Davis all of Laurel Fork, John Davis and Michael Davis both of New Jersey, five daughters, Jessica Sumner, Jacqueline Rainer and Judy Gravley all of Laurel Fork, Renee Rainer Meadows of Alabama, Heather Rainer Mehne of Texas, sisters, Jacqueline Smith Morgan of Kirbyville, Texas, Phyllis Smith Paul of Orangefield,Texas, and Nelda Smith Miller of Burkeville, Texas brothers, Charlie Smith of Texas and Bob Smith of Bleakwood, Texas, 26 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 2pm at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Chaplin Jerry Keegan officiating.

Military Rites will be conducted by Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1pm to 2pm.
