Fannie Steere (aka Steers) married Frederick Eugene Day, of Lambs Creek, Richmond Twp., Tioga County, PA, on 25 Jan 1904 in Elmira, N.Y. The mother of two, Gertrude and Frederick Charles Day, Fannie and Frederick Eugene owned and operated a saloon/boarding house in Newark, N.J., in the years between 1905 and his death in 1915. Fannie married William H. Cross on 11 May 1916 in New York City. (Fannie & William's grave marker photo can be found at MEMORIAL ID 156278028).

{Researcher Note: Fannie used Steers as her surname, but most records, books and documents show the family name as Steere, belonging to a much larger family whose early branches were in MA and RI. Fannie was my great-grandmother - Ken Cocuzzo}
