He was employed by the Heintz Division of Kelsey-Hayes, a manufacturer of auto parts, for 43 years, retiring in 1977. An avid bowler, Mr. Kozole scored a perfect 300 while playing for the company team in 1961.
He was a member of St. Timothy's Parish, where he belonged to the Senior Citizens Group. He also was a member of the Holmesburg Council 1284 of the Knights of Columbus, and was a fourth-degree member of the St. John Neumann General Assembly.
Survivors: his wife, Katherine; sons, Joseph J. Jr. and Michael K., daughters, Kathleen Clime and Linda K.; four grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
Services: viewing, 7 p.m. tommorow, James A. McCafferty Funeral Home, 6711 Frankford Ave.; Mass of Christian Burial, 9 a.m. Monday, St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church; burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Cornwells Heights
