She was married to Hugh Walter Guy Sr (1875–1944), and he was the son of Sterling Yancy Guy (1824–1881) and Druscilla (Watson) Guy (1832–1898).
A resident of 206 North 9th Street, Nashville, she was 70 years old and a widow when died myocardial degeneration on December 5, 1947 at Nashville's Central State Hospital where she had been for three months. Burial was the next day in Spring Hill Cemetery.
