SNYDER, Daniel Webster, 75, a prominent farmer of Berkeley County for 30 years, died at his home in Martinsburg October 12. He had been active in Republican politics in the county for many years and is survived by his wife and two sons, Attorney Daniel W. SNYDER Jr. and E.E. SNYDER, both of Martinsburg.

Daniel and Angeline were also the parents of Elmer Emerson Snyder (15 Sept 1865 - 20 Apr 1932). He was born in Washington County, Maryland.
Elmer [1st] married Jane Elizabeth (Merchant) Snyder ["Nettie"] (29 Sept 1870 - 13 Sept 1911) on 4 Mar 1891 in Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia.
Elmer [2nd] married Grace McKeldin (Close) Snyder (14 Jan 1890 - 14 Jan 1972). Grace was the daughter of William Close (born Nov 1860) and Elizabeth (Askey) Close (born May 1866). Elmer is #88052508, Jane is #68119605, and Jane is #68119605.
