Mrs. Sarah E. Smith, (nee Martin) wife of Harry G. Smith, of Eustis, Florida, formerly of this place, died last night at 8:15 in the West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, following an operation.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith were well known in this vicinity having resided here most of their married life and have numerous relatives and friends here. They moved to Squirrel Hill 12 years ago, later going to Eusits. She was a member of the Eustis Presbyterian church.
Besides her husband, she leaves one brother, Alex Martin, of Glenshaw, and two sisters Mrs. Ellen Schneiderman, of Squirrel Hill, and Mrs. Hanford Kuiser, of Eustis.
The body was removed to the home of her sister, Mrs. Ellen Schneiderman, 5649 Northumberland street, Squirrel Hill.
Funeral plans have not been completed.
