Harold Johnson STRUM, Wis. (Special) Harold Johnson, 83, died Tuesday afternoon at Rustad Nursing Home here after a long illness. He was born Dec. 23, 1879, in Norway, son of Johannes and Siri Klavestad. He came lo this country in 1902 and farmed in Town of Unity near here until about 12 years ago, when he and his wife moved lo Strum. They entered the nursing home about four years ago.

He was married April 5, 1913 to Thora Haugen. A golden wedding had been planned for the couple April 7. He was a member of Strum Lutheran Church.

Survivors are: His wife, Thora; one son,
1. Melvin T Hanson, Havre, Mont.;
(married Gilma Finstad also of Strum)
one daughter,
2. Mrs. Mike (Borghild) Scalzo, Spooner, Wis.;
Two grandchildren; two brothers, John Johnston, Strum, and Jens Klavestad, Whitehall, and four sisters, Mrs. Sophie Brandon, Madison, WI; Mrs. Paul (Anna) Hubbell, Mrs Juline Gulliksrud and Mary (Olga MARIE) Klavestad of Strum.
