Irma Fae (Harrison) Bailey passed away March 17, 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Fae was born September 18, 1919 in Piedmont, Oklahoma. She attended El Reno Schools through graduation in 1937. She attended Oklahoma City Business College and began her career as a secretary in 1938. She met her future husband, Roy Bailey, in Oklahoma City and they were married October 2, 1938. She began her career at Central National Bank in 1947 and continued working there for 34 years moving up the ranks to become a vice president and commercial loan officer. In 1981 at age 62, she retired from Central National Bank. After her retirement from banking, she and her husband began traveling around the country and spending more time with their family. She began bowling on a team and volunteering at Mercy Health Center until 2002. She served many years as the treasurer for the Mercy Auxiliary and made many friends there as well. After living in Oklahoma City for 56 years, Fae moved to Tulsa in 2002. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband of 49 years Roy in 1987, daughter-inlaw, Diana Lee Bailey in 1986, a brother, two sisters, three brothers-in-law and her special friend Bill Harwell. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lenice Bailey, Tulsa, two grandsons, Travis Bailey, Chicago, IL, Jeremy Bailey, San Antonio, Texas; two step-grandchildren, Joey Bodnar and his wife Melissa, China Spring, Texas, Angela Timmons and her husband Andrew, Jenks, OK. Three sisters, Jimmie Meyer and her husband Mervel, El Reno, OK. Hazel Reed, Bakersfield, CA and Helen Jo Curtis, Rancho Mirage, Ca; and one brother Dallas Harrison and his wife Bonnie of Redondo Beach, CA. and three step great-grandchildren, Jacob Bodnar, Bailey Timmons and Brady Timmons. In addition she is survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral home Friday, March 24 - Saturday morning, March 26th. She will be buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Oklahoma City, next to her husband. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to go to The Mercy Auxiliary, 4300 West Memorial Road, Oklahoma City, OK 73120, 405-936-5007 in Fae Bailey's name. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral 6006 N. Grand Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK.
