Preceded in death by her son Fran Tarrant and by her daughters Leslie Westmoreland, Donna Brown and Sheila Green-Matlock, she was survived by two daughters; a married son; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 2nd-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at The Temple Baptist Church on Kings Lane, and burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
