Eugene E. Clements, age 73 of Plainview, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. He was born May 1, 1937 in Little Rock, AR to Wilburn and Monteen Tarkington Clements. He was a member of the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, Wilburn Clements.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Shirley Lucy Clements; mother, Monteen Clements of Jacksonville; children, Eugene Clements, Jr. and wife, Anna of Scott, AR, Raymond Clements and wife, Mary of Bauxite, AR, Debra Larch and husband, David of Plainview; brother, John Clements and wife, Phylis of Plainview; sisters, Ena George and husband, Curtis of Jacksonville, AR, Carolyn Brown and husband, Miles of Jacksonville, AR; five grandchildren, one great granddaughter and a great-grandson due any day.
Funeral service was Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Jesus Name Pentecostal Church. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery in Mayflower.
