KYBURZ -- Services for Loren B. Collin, a retired service manager for Harold Ford in Sacramento, will be at 11 A.M. Wednesday at Memory Chapel in Placerville. Burial will be at Westwood Hills Memorial Park.
Mr. Collin died Friday from a heart attack in a Sacramento hospital at age 86.
The Minnesota native was service manager for the auto dealership from 1932 until his retirement in 1958. He had lived in Sacramento for 33 years before moving to Kyburz, El Dorado County, in 1960.
Mr. Collin was fire chief for the Fruitridge Volunteer Fire Department in the early 1930's.
He is survived by his sons, Robert, Richard and Loren, all of Sacramento, eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
