COLLIN, RICHARD "DICK" In Sacramento, CA. , January 13, 2002.
Age 77, Beloved husband of Paula. Loving father and father- in-law of Marcie and Gary Paolinelli. Dear brother of Loren (Tony) Collin. Also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his brother, Robert Collin; and sister, Janet Davis. A native of Minnesota, Dick lived in Sacramento since age 3.
He was a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division and received the Bronze Star for heroism during the Luzon Campaign in World War II. As a building contractor in Sacramento, he built more than 500 homes in the area.
He was an avid golfer, a former member of the Golden Seniors softball club, and loved to restore vintage cars.
Friends and family may visit at Andrews & Greilich Mortuary, 3939 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento on Wednesday, Jan. 16th from 3:00-8:00 PM. His service and interment will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, Jan. 17th at East Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 43rd Street and Folsom Blvd., Sacramento.
