Obituary: Mrs. Mamie Mason Sherouse, 78, of 220 Inman Dr., Decatur, widow of salesman George E. Sherouse, died Friday in a private hospital after a long illness. Born in Washington County, Mrs. Sherouse had lived in the Atlanta area since 1932. She was a member of Pattillo Memorial Methodist Church and the WSCS there. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. N. Carrington, Decatur; two brothers, T. E. Bridges, Sr., Atlanta; W. W. Bridges, Shreveport, La.; a sister, Mrs. T. F. Lewis, Swainsboro, and a granddaughter, Miss Diane Carrington, Decatur. A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
