Eva Katherina Braun was born in January 1806 in Bindersbach neighborhood in Annweiler am Trifels, Bayern, Germany, the child of Jacob and Margaretha (Pabst.) She married Anton Memmer on November 29, 1826, in Bayern, Germany. They had eight children in 20 years. She died on March 11, 1848, in Bindersbach, Germany, at the age of 42. Eleven years after her death her husband, Anton, and six of their children then sailed together to America on April 09, 1859 aboard the ship named David Hoadly.
