He worked for Plantation Pipe Line Co. before retiring in 1975 and served as an infantryman in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1949. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
Mr. Schexnailder was preceded in death by his wife, Mike Schexnailder, in 1994.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Michael Hines of Laguna Beach; brothers Earl Schexnailder and Ulman Schexnailder, both of Louisiana; and grandchildren Lacy and Mahlia Hines.
