Aged Resident Died Early This Morning
John D. Robertson, 81, Life-Long Resident, Passes at His Home Here.
John D. Robertson, a life-long resident of Sullivan, died at his home here this morning of diseases incident to old age. He had been seriously ill for the past four weeks. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at the Christian church with the pastor, Rev. E.C. Corts, officiating, with burial following at Center Ridge Cemetery.
The deceased is survived by the wife, America Robertson, five daughters, Mrs. John Rogers, Mrs. E.J. Fallowfield, Mrs. Laura Trego, Mrs. Robert Hinkle and Mrs. Roy Houpt. The deceased was a son of John Robertson* (see note below), pioneer contractor and carpenter of this city.

Sullivan Resident, 81 years Old Died At Home This Morning.
John D. Robertson, aged resident of Sullivan, was called in death this morning at his home on North Court street. Although he had been in failing health for several years he had only been seriously ill about four weeks. He was 81 years old.
Surviving are the wife, Mrs. America Robertson; and five daughters, Mrs. John Rogers, Mrs. E.J. Fallowfield, Mrs. Laura Trego, Mrs. Robert Hinkle and Mrs. Roy Houpt. A host of other relatives and friends also mourn his passing.
The body was taken to the Billman funeral home to be prepared for burial.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First Christian Church with Rev. E.C. Corts officiating.
