Funeral services for Lydia Ann LaFaitt, 63, of Whitehouse, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matt Thomas officiating. Burial is in Whitehouse Cemetery under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Ann passed away on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, in Tyler.

She was born on Sept. 22, 1951, in Mexia to Andrew and Mary Smotzer Schuster. Ann was a member of Whitehouse United Methodist Church for 38 years and was currently employed at ETMC. She was a resident of Whitehouse for 43 years and also worked 10 years at the Whitehouse Independent School. Ann enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Danny Frank LaFaitt, of Whitehouse; sons, Danny Shane LaFaitt and Dustin Wade LaFaitt, of Whitehouse; daughter, Wendy Michelle LaFaitt, of Whitehouse; brothers, Edmond Schuster and Andrew Schuster, of California; sisters, Dorothea Schuster, of Mexia, and Rosemary Vest, of Groesbeck; grandchildren, Rylan Bliss LaFaitt and Lauren Ashlee Warner; and daughter-in-law, Jimmi Leigh LaFaitt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Schuster.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
