Services Thursday For Elmer Brower
Elmer Brower, 87, a long time resident of Freelandville and well known in the Carlisle community, died Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. He was a retired farmer and was the first person admitted to the Freelandville Home.
Survivors include two brothers-in-law, Jack Erton and Louis Ralston of Carlisle. His wife preceded him in death in 1963.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Strate Funeral Home, with burial in Indian Prairie Cemetery.
