Mrs. Maud Cleveland

Mrs. Maud A. Cleveland of Linton R. 2, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, October 8th, at her home in Greene County. She was born June 10, 1874 and was 70 years old. She is survived by the husband, James S. Cleveland; two children, Reba Brown of Indianapolis and James of the U.S. Army; two stepchildren, Russell Cleveland of Sandborn and Stella Land of Terre Haute; ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Bertie Brower of Sullivan, and one brother, Claude Turnmire of California.

She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Sandborn rural route and of the Royal Neighbors Lodge at Pleasantville.

Funeral services will be conducted at Indian Prairie Baptist Church with Jack Arnold, minister of the church, officiating. The time of the funeral has not been set. Burial will be made at Indian Prairie Cemetery. Newkirk's Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Maud A. Cleveland, 70 years old, of R.R. 2, Linton, Ind., who died late Sunday night, will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at the Indian Prairie Church. She is survived by the husband, James S.; one daughter, Mrs. Reba Brown, of Indianapolis; one son, James, in the United States Army; one stepson, Russell, of Sandborn; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Stella Land, of Terre Haute; one brother, Claude Turnmire, of California, and one sister, Mrs. Bertie Brower, of Sullivan.
