Ben Lee Cheshire, 46, of Leesburg, GA died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Leesburg Cemetery. Rev. Andy Hardin and Luke Bryan will officiate.

Born in Albany, GA Lee had resided in Lee County since 1969. He was a graduate of Lee County High School Class of 1986 and attended Georgia Southern University.

Lee was the owner of Southland Appraisal Service and an active member of the Lee County business community. He may also be remembered with is his involvement in The Lee County Recreational Department and his loyalty to the Trojans. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kelly Bryan Cheshire on May 08, 2007.

Survivors include his children, Jordan Cheshire, Kris Cheshire and Til Cheshire, his parents, Ben and Barbara Cheshire Jr. and his sister and brother-in-law, Stacey and Kevin Scott all of Lee County GA, his in-laws, Luke and Caroline Bryan of Nashville, TN, LeClaire Bryan of Mexico Beach, FL, Tommy and Kaye Bryan of Leesburg, GA, three nephews Jackson Scott, Bo Bryan, and Tate Bryan two nieces Hailey and Kyndall Scott all of Lee County, numerous cousins and his "best bud" Steve and Rene Roberts of Cartersville, GA and special friends, Eddie and Carole Sholar, Joy and Randy Scott, Kim and Lauren Davis, and Mike and Kelli Roberts.

Lee will lie in state at Mathews Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., but the family will be at the residence of Ben and Barbara Cheshire, 134 Miller Road, Leesburg, GA. Please be mindful of Barbara's health condition when visiting the residence.
