Funeral services for Dr. Bernard J. McEntee, 59, Wilmington, Del., physician and son of the late T. T. McEntee, former burgess of Steelton, who died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Lancaster, will be held Wednesday morning at 10.30 o'clock from St. Ann's Church, Lancaster, with the Rev. Michael Dougherty, Wilmington, celebrating a solemn requiem mass. He will be assisted by the Rev. Edward Dougherty, deacon and the Rev. John Corrigan, sub-deacon, both of Wilmington.
A native of Steelton, Dr. McEntee was graduated from Mt. St. Mary's College, and received his degree in medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 1911. He practiced medicine in Wilmington for 32 years and was one of the founders of St. Francis Hospital in that city.
Doctor McEntee served with the British and Scottish forces in World War I and was retired with the rank of captain.
He is survived by a brother, the Rev. Thomas L. McEntee, pastor of St. Ann's Church, Lancaster; one sister, Sister Mary Bernard, of the Order of Daughters of Charity, Albany, N. Y., and an aunt, Sister M. Veronica, of Sisters of Mercy, Harrisburg.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Harrisburg.
